Edexcel Postgraduate Diploma (Level 7) in Strategic Management and Leadership

Edexcel Postgraduate Diploma (Level 7) in Strategic Management and Leadership

Pathway
  • A rounded, management qualification which adds to previous specific clinical qualifications and is designed for busy, working leaders.
  • This is a 120 credit level 7 postgraduate Diploma awarded by an internationally recognised body – Edexcel and delivered by one of their accredited centres – The London Academy Business School for Arden Primary Care Ltd.
  • The 120 credits at level 7 is a recognised foothold to MBA, MSc and MA and counts as about two thirds of these Masters’ qualifications. On completion of the Edexcel Postgraduate Diploma in Strategic Management and Leadership, a student is eligible to progress to a Masters at a number of UK Universities. They then ‘Top Up’ with the appropriate modules from that university to exceed 180 credits for the MBA, MSC or MA.
  • If students do not complete the Diploma but achieve 60 credits, they are awarded a Postgraduate Certificate in Strategic Management and Leadership.
Delivery
The course is a part-time commitment and all assignments are applied to the student’s actual working environment. With cohorts usual of about 15-20, the course can be delivered anywhere in the UK with minimum time out of the office/surgery/practice to suit. Four external study days per year, eight in total over the two years cover the assignment requirements for each annual 60 credits and personal tutors guide the remaining remote study and assignment support via a Virtual Learning Environment and direct email and telephone calls over the two years to gain 120 credits.

This is specifically designed for higher level students who have high work commitments and tutors guarantee response times within 48hrs as part of their service level agreement.

Cost
£1,900 per student per year = £3,800 in total for the Diploma. The average cost of the same Diploma nationwide is £2,400 per year = £4,800 meaning a saving of £1,000 per student if delivered through the Arden Primary Care Ltd. and The London Academy Business School partnership.

Several cohorts can be started at once anywhere in the UK with a minimum average cohort size of 12 at each site. Total students are divided by number of sites to ascertain this viability.
